Keeping You Informed When we are contracted to work on a project, the weekly status report is something we never skip. It's critical because we want you to know what we're doing and to keep you informed of any speedbumps we encounter along the way. We have a standard format that fits on one page intended for upper management. These are not technical summaries. They are provided so it's clear where we are focused and how we are interacting with your staff. This would be the same type of document you would expect to receive from an IT manager, but one for each active project. Our weekly summary includes:
- High Level Overview In all projects, our effectiveness is based on participation from your staff. For example, if we need a document or a decision, we'll ask someone there for that item and record when we expect delivery. Any request which can impact the project time line, will be mentioned in the Requests Made section. If the request is not provided when expected, then it will appear the following week as a Concern/Risk. Resource Summary section breaks down total time spent by resource and includes a percentage to show total project consumption. We will NEVER surprise you at the end of project phase with bad news about what's not done. We have a steadfast habit of telling you exactly how it is as soon as we know it. We find that's the best way to keep things on track, and to keep customers from strangling us if, on the off chance, a deadline is missed.

term clients. For more about client types, click here)
